Materials List

Feel free to use whatever materials you are comfortable with

Here are the materials I recommend:

Linen/canvas pads or primed panels or canvas, at least three 9x12" or similar for the first 3 weeks and one bigger size - from 12x16" to 18x24" for the rest. Pads: Centurion linen pad 9x12" or you can buy a piece of canvas and cut it to the sizes you need. Claessens 13 in Rolls | in EU | in UK | Panels: Set from Artefex | Allinpanel 538

Masking tape (to mount canvas on board) When I prime panels myself, I use THIS PRIMER

Oil Paints: I generally prefer Rublev, Michael Harding and Old Holland. Other brands I use occasionally are M. Graham, Gamblin, W&N Artists and Sennelier

Additional pigments (this list can be extended later)

Mediums: Gamsol (or any Odorless Minerals Spirits) or Solvent-Free Gel | Oleogel or Walnut Oil Gel | Solvent Jar

Brushes: Everything in one Set

Synthetics: Long Filberts sizes: 2 to 6, X-Long Combers, Rounds small to mediums, Fans sizes 2 and 6

Bristles: Extra Long sizes 4 to 6

Other: Mahl stick | Metal palette knife - better to have two flexible ones. I use RGM and Holbein MX | Paper Towels (in rolls)

This list may be updated. If you have any questions about the materials - post your comments here or write to us at [email protected]. We are happy to help!
