Materials List
Feel free to use whatever materials you are comfortable with
Here are the materials I recommend:
Linen/canvas pads or primed panels or canvas, at least three 9x12" or similar for the first 3 weeks and one bigger size - from 12x16" to 18x24" for the rest. Pads: Centurion linen pad 9x12" or you can buy a piece of canvas and cut it to the sizes you need. Claessens 13 in Rolls | in EU | in UK | Panels: Set from Artefex | Allinpanel 538
Masking tape (to mount canvas on board) When I prime panels myself, I use THIS PRIMER
Oil Paints: I generally prefer Rublev, Michael Harding and Old Holland. Other brands I use occasionally are M. Graham, Gamblin, W&N Artists and Sennelier

- Nickel Titanium Yellow or Lead-Tin Yellow (Gamblin, Old Holland, Williamsburg) PY53
- Yellow Ochre PY42 or
- Transparent Oxide Red PR101
- Naphthol Red PR188 or Cadmium Red Light PR108
- Alizarin Crimson PR83 or Alizarin Claret PR177
- King's Blue Light (Michael Harding, Old Holland) PB29, PW6

- Alkyd Titanium White

- Genuine Naples Yellow Light PY411 or Chrome Yellow Primrose PY34
Mediums: Gamsol (or any Odorless Minerals Spirits) or Solvent-Free Gel | Oleogel or Walnut Oil Gel | Solvent Jar
Brushes: Everything in one Set
Synthetics: Long Filberts sizes: 2 to 6, X-Long Combers, Rounds small to mediums, Fans sizes 2 and 6
Bristles: Extra Long sizes 4 to 6
Other: Mahl stick | Metal palette knife - better to have two flexible ones. I use RGM and Holbein MX | Paper Towels (in rolls)
